Vendor EDI Testing Procedures

DSD (810 Only)

 Step 1: You first must be an approved vendor and receive your 5 digit Rite Aid Vendor Number. To find the Category Manager who handles your product Rite Aid Supplier Portal Click on Category Management, then Meet our Management.

 Step 2: After the EDI Dept receives your paperwork, you will be setup on Rite Aids' EDI to Fax process. Your first 850(PO) will be received via fax. You must receive the first PO by FAX before EDI testing can begin. After the setup is complete you'll receive an email confirming you are now setup for EDI to FAX along with an EDI Trading Partner Profile.

 Step 3: Fill out and return at any time the EDI Trading Partner Profile to edi@riteaid.com. After receiving your first Fax PO please contact the Rite Aid EDI dept at edi@riteaid.com to begin EDI testing. All EDI mapping specs are available for download at www.riteaidediservices.com/B2B/index.html                      

 Step 4 : Notify Rite Aid's EDI Dept once you have received your first fax PO, you will be setup to begin EDI testing, Rite Aid will resend one of the purchase orders you received via fax, the 997 Acknowledgment must be returned to Rite Aid within 24 hours. After receiving the 997, the 850/997 will be moved to production..

 Step 5 : After the 850/997 documents are in production, submit the 810 (invoice) or the 856 (ASN) for testing. We will review each document and inform you via email of any changes needed. This cycle will continue until all required EDI documents have been reviewed and pass Rite Aid's EDI requirements.

 Step 6 : After each document has passed the EDI requirements, that document will be moved to production Once all EDI documents (850/997, 810 & 856) have been moved to production you will be in full production and EDI compliant.
